The Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Coordinator will manage and assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the equipment, vehicles, and buildings/facilities for the Effingham, IL, Troy, IL and St. Louis, MO offices.    
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repair services to mitigation equipment such as dehumidifiers, electric air movers and air scrubbers.
  • Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical and refrigeration systems in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule program for applicable equipment and vehicles.
  • Complete a variety of repair services to building and grounds.
  • Maintain all outdoor spaces on properties which can include, but not limited to, spraying, trash, and clearing snow/ice when required.
  • Arrange for and manage appropriate third-party contractor support, as needed.
  • Set up meeting space for conferences by preparing a room with adequate table and seating space.
  • Assist DRT on Commercial Large Loss (not required but preferred).
 
Position Requirements
  • High school education/G.E.D preferred.  
  • Experience repairing small and medium equipment
  • Refrigeration system knowledge and experience
  • Solid understanding of a variety of repair techniques and operating tools
  • Basic mechanic skills and experience with motors
  • Basic vehicle and oil maintenance experience 
  • Experience driving large vehicles and trailers
  • HVAC experience preferred but not required
  • Carpenter skills preferred but not required 
 
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces 
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
